Who we’re seeking

Someone just flat out creative!

We are looking for a qualified Community Management Intern to join our team. If you are a highly analytical, tech-savvy professional, experienced in social media, content development, copywriting, and relationship management, we would like to meet you. Our ideal candidate has exceptional oral and written communication skills and is able to develop engaging content to attract new business. You will be expected to use your content as a means to generate a following you can build strong relationships with. You should be a ‘people person’ with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community. Ultimately, you should be able to act as the face and voice of our brand and manage all community communications.

You have a passion for and have knowledge in content, research, technology, marketing, and solutions-first problem solving. The ideal candidate is an out-of-the-box thinker who does not take no for an answer. You will have the business acumen, poise, openness, and professional confidence to work as part of a small and growing team.

You must understand online and social ecosystems like the back of your hand.

This is a remote position with weekly in-person meetings – hours vary.

Project focus

B2B content development and community management across all owned channels like Instagram, Quora, blog, YouTube, and email.

Key responsibilities

  • Research target markets and stay up-to-date with digital technology trends
  • Set and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies
  • Provide engaging media, including text, image and video content for acquisition channels
  • Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner
  • Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists
  • Monitor news and developments relating to, or impacting, partners/ prospects in target markets
  • Liaise with Development and Sales departments to stay updated on solutions and products
  • Analyze marketing KPIs to provide insight on content and distribution performance

Our ideal candidate / requirements

  • You are resourceful and can operate independently with or without direction
  • You can write and/or produce original content that is AWESOME and addicting
  • You understand trends on social media and know how to effectively implement them with a business goal in mind
  • You are excellent at learning on the fly and willing to push the limits of your abilities for the sake of hitting goals
  • Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)
  • You have a passion for technology and understand its utility as a solution
  • You are data-driven and can surface actionable insights from raw data sets and dashboards
  • You can handle the chaotic life of a startup, and possess the creativity to make a difference every day
  • You are patient yet motivated; you’re inspired by challenging tasks yet possess the ability to tackle simple ones with precision and diligence
  • You are an excellent communicator – can communicate at all levels with internal/external management teams by phone, email and face to face
  • You know and have experience with productivity suites – Microsoft Office, Apple iWork, Google G Suite


  • This is an unpaid internship treated as an apprentice with high project ownership
